Charlotte Miller, Senior Partner at Miller Evans & Co said “It was great to meet the loveliest of people at the First Love Foundation and see the very worthy work they do in the East London area – their dedication and determination is to be commended.

Solicitor climbs Snowdon

Shanaz Ali trekked  to the summit of Mount Snowdon on 20th May 2017 to raise funds for Al-Isharah and its services to the deaf Muslim community.

Deaf people are marginalised within the wider community and deaf Muslims in particular face greater struggles and communication barriers since they often originate from migrant families. Islam can be barely accessible for them and Al-Isharah works tirelessly to correct this situation and support deaf Muslims. The charity provides employment services, marriage services, educational services and general events targeted specifically at the deaf community including the Deaf Run and an annual Deaf Dinner.

We congratulate Shanaz wholeheartedly for her brave and successful endeavours.
